Privacy at Lift & Light Music

Stories and messages are received privately. Nothing you submit is published automatically.

Updated October 10, 2026.

What you choose to share

Story forms collect your message, its category and selected song, and your publication and contact choices. You may optionally include your name, email, and church or ministry. Contact requests collect your message, request category, email address for a reply, and an optional name.

Please share only information you are comfortable sending for private review, and avoid including another person’s private details without their permission.

How messages are used

Lift & Light Music uses submissions to review stories, understand how songs are used, answer requests, and follow up where appropriate. Story forms keep permission to contact you separate from permission to consider your story for publication. Both are unchecked by default.

Stories are stored with a pending review status. A story can be considered for publication only with your permission and after review. The public name choice starts at Anonymous. Email addresses are not part of a published story. Contact requests are private and have no publication option.

Storage and retention

The website is hosted on Cloudflare, and submissions are stored in the site’s Cloudflare D1 database for private review by Lift & Light Music. Records are retained for review and follow-up; the site does not currently apply an automatic deletion period.

You can request a correction, removal, or withdrawal of publication permission through the privacy contact form. Include your submission reference if you have it. We may need enough information to identify the correct record and verify your request.

Website visits and embedded videos

Cloudflare processes technical information to deliver and protect the website. The site also uses Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand page visits and performance. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy.

Videos are embedded using YouTube’s privacy-enhanced domain. Loading or interacting with an embedded player connects your browser to YouTube, which may process technical and playback information under Google’s privacy policy. Opening a YouTube link takes you to that service.
